Game files for Playingcards.io

About playingcards.io

Playingscards.io is a platform that allows you to create and play simple card and board games. Since it is very easy to use, it is accessible to any student. The interface to create and edit games is also relatively straightforward, so with little efforts teachers can adapt my games to their needs.

It is free to use, with an ad popping time to times. If you want to remove the ads and get some additional features you can opt for a premium subscription.

How to use a game file

Once you’ve downloaded a “.pcio” file, you can upload it on playingcards.io (you don’t need to create an account):

  1. Go to playingcards.io/import.
  2. Drag&drop or click the button to select the “.pcio” file that you’ve downloaded from Fonaki.

If you make any modification to a game, you can export it form playingcards.io and save it locally.

You can reach a game again using the address
https://playingcards.io/xxxxxx where you are redirected after uploading it the first time (xxxxxx is the room code). It will be kept on playingcards.io for a certain amount of time, but if un-played it will eventually disappear. Having a (free) account keep tracks of your created games, so you don’t have to note the room codes.
